Some basic tips

Please feel free to interact with each other. Trade or sell singles to each other all you want. Just follow these tips/rules.

1. No case break, box break or factory box sales here.
2. No advertising your own site or store. I'm sorry if that seems unreasonable, but with the loss of ebay as an outlet for breaks I need all the customers I can get.
3. If you are selling or trading try to be specific about the item and include pictures.
4. Utilize the private messaging to work out the details.
5. Let everyone know who your favorite teams and players are. Once people know they will seek you out for trades and sales.
6. Let people know what you have. Again, be specific.
7. Most of all be honest. This is a great chance to move your cards or collect other cards without the expense of ebay. I'm not asking for any percentage of sales, just don't screw each other over. Once you get a bad rep for sales or trades you will lose the ability to offer trades or sales.

Erik - On trading sites I usually post a link to my "bucket" (some albums on photobucket). That way the person who has the card I want can browse the cards I have available for trade. Is that OK on this site? I tried to post a link to my bucket earlier but it said there was a 7 day waiting period before a new member can do that (which, btw, I agree with - otherwise you WILL get people spamming for sales).

There is a waiting period for links due to spammers.

However, once that is up I have no issue with links to photobucket or listings for your cards. Just please avoid advertising or linking to competitors.

Photos are a great way to show off your collection and let others know exactly what you have. I'm all for it.

Yes, you absolutely can post a picture within a thread to show a card off if you'd like.
