1. Auction will be live immediately after this post and will remain open until Sunday 4/29/2012 at 9:59:59pm eastern. All bids must be time stamped in the thread before 10pm. Any bids marked as 10pm and after will be void. Payments will be due within 5 days of end of auction since the break will be shortly thereafter.

2. You can email me bids up through 12 noon on Sunday 4/29/12 if you have an issue posting in the thread. I will add your bid in for you. However, if you send me email bids after 12 noon, I may not have time to add them into the auction, so please check the thread to see if your bid was added. There are no promises for email bids received after 12 noon.

3. All bids must be in even $ increments

4. When placing a bid please understand that your bid is the price you will pay if you are high bidder. If you bid $120 and the next high bid was $80 then you pay the $120. Otherwise people could bid outrageous amounts and nobody else would bid and the bidder would get the minimum prices. This is the most fair way I can do this. If you really want a team I would suggest keeping an eye on the auction for at least the last 10 minutes before the end of the auction or simply bid the maximum you want to pay.

We will be doing two breaks of this product. Each break will consist of two cases. The first will be for two cases of the hobby wax and the second will be for two cases of the hobby jumbo's. I will break the hobby jumbo's first, sort and ship those and then do the break for the hobby wax (or vice versa). I will not break all four cases the first couple of days after I receive them. This will get you your cards quicker and allow me to space them apart a little.

This year Bowman will return with several hobby only programs including: Autographed Bowman Chrome prospects, Bowman Chrome autographed rookie cards, autographed rookie originals, AFLAC High School All-Americans, Bowman’s Best, Bowman Silver Ice, printing plates and more! There will also be a special Hobby only wrapper redemption program featuring 110 prospects. You can redeem 24 hobby wrappers for an exclusive 5-card pack of the all-new blue wave refractors. Each hobby box will have one autographed chrome prospects card and jumbos will have three autographed cards.Bowman will feature on-card autographs featuring Gerrit Cole (1st pick), Danny Hultzen (2nd pick), Anthony Rendon (6th pick), and many more.

What is great about Bowman is that if you do your homework you can pick up some really great deals. I've priced based on a combination of what teams are most collectible and by looking at the draft picks/prospect auto list as it is currently. There are some top draft picks on some of the lower priced teams. Do a little research and you can get some great cards cheap. Some of the teams below are as little as $15/$16 per case and that includes shipping!




Hobby Release date is - 5/18/2012 - my cost $57/box (my cost for cards alone $1396 + shipping for two cases) on hobby wax (12 boxes per case - 1 auto per box), and $94/box ($1534 on 2 cases plus shipping) on hobby jumbo (8 boxes per case - 3 autos per box). If you do the math you will see there is 2% added to my cost, that is what the wholesaler charges me inorder to use a credit card.

Okay, we have had many, many requests about the new listings so I am going to price all of the new breaks now. We are implementing a new policy as well. And since we are listing these so early I am not asking for payment for 6 weeks to allow everyone time to prepare for their purchases.

Changes to the current method of buying teams.

1. I will list each team with the minimum amount of money I need in order to cover the cost of the case(s), shipping of the product to me, supplies, fees and shipping of the product out plus $2 per team (rounded to the next dollar level). That means if I sell every team I will only make $60 for all my time and effort. It also means I will not be dropping prices or will not be offering discounts for multiple teams.

2. For the first 3 days after the listing only registered site members can purchase teams.

3. During the first 3 days though, each team will be up as an auction. You must post in the thread the amount you are willing to pay to secure a team. You can not email me or send a private message. This is an open auction. Please be specific in your bid. I need the team you want and which break you are bidding on. You can place multiple bids in the same message.

4. Based on the timestamp on the bid, the highest bid on a team received prior to the deadline will receive that team. Please keep in mind your highest bid will be the price. For example, if you bid $120 and the next highest bid was $80, your cost to buy the team will be $120. This should prevent people from bidding really high just to deter other buyers.




This break is open for purchases auction style for the next 3 days (2/18, 2/19 and 2/20). Highest bidder will win the team. Again, you must be a registered member to bid and bid must be timestamped prior to 11pm on 2/20. That is the cutoff. If you are at all after that your bid will not count. After that time all teams will be available at the current price marked to anyone.

Your last posts showing the high bids don't show bids for either team for the jumbo and the prices listed under the hobby for both of these teams look to be jumbo mins.
